Admission process

The admission process at IURA - Institut Universitaire de la Renaissance Africaine is open to anyone wishing to acquire a quality education.

Each application is carefully analysed to ensure that it meets the requirements for admission to one of our programmes. Depending on the course chosen, admission may be by competitive examination or by application.

Good to know:
No documents will be returned to applicants once their application has been registered with the IURA.
Please provide photocopies only.

Submission of applications – Fill in the form – Gather the various elements’

Study and assessment of dossiers – Interviews with candidates

Publication of admissions for the various open programmes

Doctoral School | Master's Program

  • photocopy of identity document (national identity card or residence permit, passport)
  • photocopy of birth certificate
  • photocopy of each diploma
  • photocopy of academic transcript
  • French/English translations of foreign documents
  • The application form, duly completed and signed by the applicant
  • A photocopy of the applicant’s Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma
  • The applicant’s CV
  • Copies of the applicant’s previous academic work or publications
  • The applicant should enclose any documents, certificates and letters of recommendation that may help the Research Committee to assess the basis for his/her application
  • A copy of the receipt for payment of the registration fee.

Doctoral School / PhD Course

  • The applicant should enclose any documents, certificates and letters of recommendation that may help the Research Commission to clarify the basis of the application
  • A description of the thesis project, specifying : subject, speciality, proposed thesis director (if applicable), method of funding, initial lines of research – max. 05 pages
  • Copy of receipt for payment of registration fees.
